I have been in love with books since childhood. At first it was Little Golden Books. I used to dream about stacks of Little Golden Books forming columns in my parent's living room. By age 11 Nancy Drew had become my inspiration, not only for reading, but for writing, as well. I remember getting caught by my math teacher for reading Nancy Drew in class instead of paying attention to the lesson.
As a teenager, I enjoyed high school romances. One of my favorite series was called "Couples." It inspired me to start a young adult series of my own. I did finish the first draft of the first story, but I never got any further. Why? Because I started reading adult romance and knew I had found my passion.

In my NOK series, I incorporated my love for romance and emotion along with suspense in a complex story that is filled with intriguing twists.
